The Main attraction: Downtown Hyannis draws crowds

HYANNIS -

When Eva Jennings came to Hyannis from Ireland for the summer, she expected to meet a lot of tourists — she was, after all, on board to work for the Duckmobile. But she did not realize how early Main Street would fill up with visitors. She was surprised to see that by 10 in the morning Main Street was already brimming with life and energy.

Called the “Cape Cod’s Downtown,” Main Street serves locals and tourists alike, providing novelty shops and restaurants for all who visit the long street.
